Over several days, our engineering team conducted a series of advanced close-range robotic tests inside our purpose-built Autonomy Simulation Lab—a controlled environment designed to replicate the complex conditions faced during real-world infrastructure inspection and maintenance.
The campaign included more than seven unique inspection and approach scenarios, each created to push our AI-driven guidance and control system to its limits. These scenarios covered:
Linear approach paths toward structural targets
Misaligned inspection routes simulating difficult access conditions
Variable lighting, replicating bright sunlight, shadows, and low-light environments
Challenging edge-case situations, including forced error conditions and unexpected behaviours
Every test was designed to validate the system’s ability to make accurate decisions and maintain stability in dynamic inspection environments where precision and safety are essential.
